Richard Palsa
1941 – 2013

AGAWAM – Richard "Dickie" Palsa, 72, of Meadow Street, died last Thursday in Mercy Hospital. Dickie was born in Vermont, the son of Charles and the late Helen Laurin, and grew up in Rutland. He lived in West Springfield over 30 years before moving to Agawam a few years ago. Dickie served in the United States Air Force and worked at the former West Side Auto Body. His wife Jean Palsa died in 2003. Besides his father he leaves four children Rich and Tammy Palsa, Sherry Pafumi and Darlene Hobbs; seven brothers Robert, Thomas, Steven, Michael, Larry, Stanley and Charlie; four sisters Ruth, Tricia, Sharon and Cathy; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
