Richard Allen Pellerin (“Rick”), age 80, passed away on February 25, 2026, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida, from natural causes. A longtime resident of Panama City, Rick was born on January 5, 1946, in Ludlow, Massachusetts, the son of Hector and Arceilla Pellerin.

Rick proudly served his country as a member in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era, a period of his life that shaped his sense of duty, discipline, and resilience. In June of 1966, he married the love of his life, Carolyn (Fleury) Pellerin, with whom he shared more than five decades of partnership until her passing in January 2021.

Rick was a devoted father to his three sons — Paul (Wayla), Scott (Shawn), and Dana (Lisa) — who were the pride of his life. He was also a loving grandfather to Mathieu, son of Dana, and Andrew, son of Scott. His family was his greatest joy, and his legacy lives on through them and the values he instilled: hard work, loyalty, and love of family.

At the request of the family, services will be privately held at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
