Richard Powell 65, of Chicopee Mass. died, Sunday, January 7th in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield and lived most of his life in West Springfield. He leaves behind his wife Gail Powell of Chicopee with his dog Pumpkin. He also leaves behind all of his children. Richard Wheeler and his significant other Crystal Hayes, Tami Powell and her significant other Luis Castillo, Karen Ortiz and her husband Robert Ortiz, Crystal Powell and her significant other Charlie Conden, Joey Powell, and William Powell. He loved all of his 18 Grand Kids, 5 Great Grand Kids and all of his nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a sister, Geraldine Russell of Agawam, Ma and is Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth (Stearns) Powell, William Powell and his Father in Law Arthur "Pop" Wheeler. He was welcomed at the gates by the rest of his siblings William (Jr), Gary, Francis, Terri, Nancy and Deborah Powell, all of West Springfield, Ma.
