Obituary

Richard A. Robinson, 61, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at home.  Born in Auburn, NY, son of the late David Robinson, he grew up in Moravia, NY and was a graduate of Moravia High School. Upon graduation, he entered the Air Force.  He moved from North Dakota to West Springfield in 1987.  Richard worked as a parts manager and sales for Summit Handling.  He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was on a bowling league at AMF Bowling Lanes.   He was also a volunteer coach for the West Springfield Park and Recreation.  He leaves his wife of forty years, Patricia A. (Leahy) Robinson, three sons, Joshua R. and his wife Kiana Robinson, Patrick E. Robinson all of West Springfield, Michael A. and his wife Victoria Robinson of Anchorage, AK, his mother, Barbara (Bodner) Robinson of Auburn, NY, two brothers, Michael and his wife Jolan Robinson of Auburn, NY, Jerry Robinson of Raleigh, NC, a sister and her husband, Kim and Fred Cook of Woodbridge, VA, three grandchildren, Mila Robinson, Gianna Robinson, Rylee Robinson, a sister-in-law, Patricia Robinson of Weedsport, NY, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Wednesday from 10-11:45am at the Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield, followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11:45am.
