Rita V. (Zdancewicz) Swingle, 88, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in Mercy Medical Center.  Born in Nanticoke, PA, daughter of the late Sigmund and Victoria (Murawski) Zdancewicz, she lived in Agawam for many years.  Rita was a sales clerk for many years at Sears Roebuck & Company.  She was an avid cat lover, and had a special cat named Chubs.  She was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Zdancewicz.  She leaves a brother, Anthony Zdancewicz of Branford, CT, and very close friends, who will miss her dearly, Abigail "Gail" Theobald and Kelly Wright and will also be especially missed by her group of friends that got together once a week to go out to eat, Pat F., Helen O., Judy T., Liz D., Joanie B., and Clarice G.  All services are private and the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
