SPRINGFIELD – Robert A. Bennett, of Chestnut Street died Sunday in a local nursing home. Robert was born and raised in Springfield and had lived in Florida before moving back to Springfield in 2008. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and worked for WMECO. He leaves a brother Frank H. Bennett; his aunt Margaret Bennett; several nieces and nephews and his dear friends Chet and Vicki Kwolek. A private graveside service will be held in St. Michael's Cemetery. Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements
