Robert E. Bruso
WEST SPRINGFIELD-Robert E. Bruso, 90, formerly of Springfield, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, October 11th after a long illness. He was an army veteran of WWII and was a participant of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He was born in Springfield, MA to the late George and Ida. He was predeceased by his wife Dora (Mazza) Bruso. He is survived by his children Beverly Graham, Diane Calabrese, Debbie Collins, Bobby Bruso, grandchildren Marlo and Angela Calabrese, Erin Cardinale and her husband Marc, Bridget Collins, Dominique Arnold and her husband Bradley, Brandon Bruso, great grandchildren Gianna and Isabella Cardinale, and Ava Albano. He also leaves his sisters Madeline McCollum and Lorraine LaValley and many nieces and nephews, including Teresa and Herb Holl. Committal services will be held at the Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 18th. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
