Robert D.
Demarco
May 14, 1961 – June 26, 2022
Robert D. "Bobby" DeMarco (61) of West Springfield passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 26. He was predeceased by his father, Robert D. DeMarco Sr. and leaves his mother, Noreen (McDonnell) Landes of Agawam. He leaves two daughters, Dunielle DeMarco and her fiancé Matt Foley of Agawam, and Lindsey (DeMarco) Vezina and her partner Larry Thomas Jr. of Woodstock, CT. He also leaves his brother, Glenn R. DeMarco of Agawam, his sister, Loni "Sis" DeMarco of Chicopee, brother Todd J. DeMarco of Agawam, Scott J. Pierce and his wife Jadz of Newington, CT,, and his uncle Ronnie DeMarco and his wife Barbara of West Springfield as well as his Aunt Jeannette Bishop; many nieces and nephews, including Robert and Michael DeMarco of South Hadley. He also leaves his grandchildren Natalia DeMarco, Gianna Foley, Mila and Maxton; a great grandson Logan, his former spouse, Brenda Vezina of Woodstock, CT. and many close cousins. We want to recognize his extended Pugliano family and close friends, Ty and Freddie Geas, Vinnie, Frankie C. and Frankie D. We also want to thank Linz for all her help as a neighbor and dear friend. Bobby thought of her as a daughter. He has too many friends to name, who were all very important to him. In his professional career, he owned and operated several used car dealerships for over 30 years. He cherished spending time with friends and family and was fiercely loyal. He always had great stories and jokes, was a teller of tall tales, and he had an enormous heart. He adored and loved to play with his grandchildren. He always helped everyone and was a lover of animals, especially his beloved dog Bubbz. He loved his faith, his saint statues, old westerns, model cars, seeing live music, especially Leonard Skynyrd, going to Hampton Beach, The Big E, and having a good time. The magnitude of this loss is huge for the family. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday, June 30 th beginning at 4:00pm and concluding with a prayer service at 7:00pm. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at the Verdi Club Friday, July 1 st at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
