Robert P. Lees

WEST SPRINGFIELD-Robert P. Lees, 69, died peacefully Friday at home. He was born in Windsor, VT and has lived in West Springfield for many years. He graduated from West Springfield High School, Holyoke Community College and Westfield State College. He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for many years as a cost accountant at Tubed Product, TeleFlex and most recently McNairn Company. Robert was a member of the Wilbraham Lodge of Masons, the Melha Shrine, was active in the Highlanders, was a member of ROJ Court #144 and the Melha Legion of Honor. He leaves his wife Evelyn (Doolittle) Lees, two sons, Mark Lees of CA and Scott Lees of Enfield, CT, a daughter Cindy Mulcahy of Springfield, two step daughters, Kim (Kiley) Flynn of E. Longmeadow and Kristen May of Springfield, his step-mother Alberta Lees of W. Springfield, four brothers, Ron Lees, Phil Lees, Frank Giordano and David Giordano, three sisters, Karen Bindel of FL, Lori Rybski of W. Springfield and Terry Vanassa of W. Springfield and 15 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Theresa (Bouregard) Lees, his sister Roberta and his grandson Alex Camerlin. The funeral will be Friday at 11 am at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. A calling hour will precede the funeral on Friday from 10-11 am. Burial at a later date.
