Robert M. Maczka, 63, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at home. Born in Springfield, son of the late Edward J. and Rose (Tatro) Maczka, he lived in Springfield for most of his life and moved to Lakeland, FL in 2015.  He had worked as a machinist for U. S. Sabaki, a transmission manufacturing company, in Chicopee.  He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast.  He leaves his wife, Thelma (Bouchard) Maczka, a son, Michael Maczka of Lakeland, FL, two brothers and their wives, Mark and Nancy Maczka of Clearwater, FL, Wayne and Sue Maczka of Springfield, a sister, Debra Maczka of Clearwater, FL, and two cherished grandchildren, Autumn Maczka and Emma Maczka.  The funeral will be Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at the West Springfield Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours are Friday from 11am-12noon.
