Robert A. Peters, 85, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 13, 2024 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Hartford, son of the late Peter J. and Alice (Richards) Peters, he lived in West Springfield for over fifty years.  Robert was the owner of the former Peter's Tool and Mold Company in West Springfield.  He was a Marine Corp veteran and loved spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Carla (Whitney) Peters.  He leaves two sons and their wives, Craig and Cathie Peters of Leland, NC, and Cary and Brenda Peters of Plymouth, MA.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306. All services are private and Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
