Robert J. Scott, 76, died Monday in Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Holyoke, graduated from South Hadley High School in 1958 and lived in South Hadley his entire life. He was an Army Veteran, retired from James River Graphics and was a on call fireman for 25 years for SHFD District 2. Bob loved spending time at the lake with his family, especially fishing with his two favorite grandsons Mitchell and Austin Robinette. He leaves his wife Linda (O'Connor) Scott, three daughters Kelly and Scott Bassett of Montgomery, Kimberly and Jerry Robinette of South Hadley, Kristen and Terry Nickl and his brother Richard. He was predeceased by brothers Ralph and Russell and sister Jane Helman. There will be a Celebration of Bob's life at the family home on Saturday April 23rd from 11 am to 3 pm. The family would like to thank Dr. Rich Levrault and team for their care and compassion. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Hadley Council on Aging Building Fund.
