Agawam – Robert F. St. Peter Jr., 69, died peacefully Saturday morning in a local nursing home. Robert was born in Springfield, grew up in West Springfield and lived in Randolph, VT before returning to Western Mass in 2001. He raised his family in Vermont and owned a Shoe Repair and Carpet Cleaning Business for many years. He served in the United States Navy and was a jack-of-all-trades kind of man. He was a simple man, who loved to chat at his local coffee shop and had a secret talent for art. He leaves his daughter Sara St. Peter, his grandson Gabriel Hughlett, a brother Stephen St. Peter and his sister Suzanne Bergeron. A committal service will be held in the spring in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
