Robert C. Taylor

1945 – 2018

West Springfield – Robert C. Taylor, 73 of Oxford Place died Monday at home.  Robert was born in Springfield, son of the late Douglas and Frances (Davies) Taylor and has lived in West Springfield most of his life.  He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  For many years he worked as a parking attendant for the Big E and was a member of the Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star and was a Master Mason.  He leaves his wife Sally Taylor; three children Michele Chawla and her husband Pintu, Robert Taylor Jr.; Debra Taylor and her fiancé Al Rivera; a sister Elizabeth Stasiak and four grandchildren.  Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Sunday, Nov. 18 th from 4:00 – 7:00pm.   The committal service will be held at the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery at 9:00am on Monday, November 19th.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
