Robert P. Tichy, 56, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.  Born in Westfield, he grew up in Southwick on Congamond Lake and was 1985 graduate of Agawam High School.  Robert was an avid outdoorsman and did maintenance work for area apartment complexes.  He was predeceased by his mother, Janet (Bressette) Tichy, and a sister, Janet Porter.  He leaves his father, William Tichy of Southwick, a son, Nicholas A. Tichy of Feeding Hills, his longtime partner, Sandra Trembley-Viens of Agawam, a brother, Michael Tichy of Southwick, and a sister, Deborah Barringer of Vergents, VT. Calling hours are Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 2-5pm at the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Funeral Home Service at 5pm. Because of Robert's love of flannel, you are asked to wear something with flannel in his memory.
