Robert W. Westfort, 81, went home to be with his Savior, Wednesday, November 1, 2023.  Born in Meriden, CT, son of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth (Kroeber) Westfort, he moved to Feeding Hills in 1968 when he married his wife Trudy.  Robert was a draftsman by trade working for Stanadyne, and then Kollmorgen.  In his later years he was a custodian for the Easthampton Public Schools where he retired.  He was an outdoor enthusiast.  He enjoyed gardening, walking, skiing, biking and so much more.  He spent a lot of time at the senior center participating in many classes they offered.  Bob was meticulous in all he did and did everything to the best of his ability with genuine intent.  He was a devoted Christian, saved in his early 20's and was in assembly fellowship and a respected elder at the Gospel Hall in West Springfield.  He was pre-deceased by his brother Ronald 12/2022; his love and wife of 54 yrs, Trudy, February 13, 2023.  He leaves a daughter, Betsy Ellen,  her husband Michael Misialek of Chicopee, and two grandsons, Matthew and Joseph Misialek.  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11AM with funeral starting at 11:45 at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Donations may be to the Lupus Foundation at www.lupus.org or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at www.dana-farber.org
