Robert H. Wood, 74, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 30, 2017.  Born in Brooklyn, son of the late Hector and Esther (Dewey) Wood, he lived here for many years.  Robert was a preacher and worked as a clerk and mechanic for auto parts store.  He was a navy veteran of the Vietnam War.  He leaves his wife of fifty-five years, Ann (Hebert) Wood, two sons, David Wood and Jeff Wood both of South Hadley, a brother, Ronald Wood of Iowa, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at 11am at the Greater Springfield Church of Christ, 284 Montgomery Street, Chicopee.
