Roberta M. DeMarco

1958 – 2026

West Springfield - Roberta M. DeMarco was a lifelong resident of West Springfield, who passed away peacefully at the age of 67 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Springfield to Ronald and the late Roberta (Gasteyer) DeMarco, she graduated from West Springfield High School and furthered her education at the Community College of Rhode Island. Roberta dedicated her career to Elderly Services, working as a consultant to support elderly individuals and their families. She is survived by her father Ronald J. DeMarco and his wife Barbara; her uncle Robert Gasteyer and his wife Rose; an Aunt Noreen Landes; many cousins, especially Loni, Glenn, Bobby, and Todd; and her beloved dog, Champ. She was predeceased by her mother, her brother Ronald A. DeMarco, and her cherished dogs Lizzie, Molly, and Annie. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, February 28th starting at 9:30 at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home and concluding with a funeral home service at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.  This obituary reflects Roberta's deep ties to the West Springfield community and her compassionate work supporting the elderly and animals.
