Robin T. Quick-Laverdure
1969 – 2011

FEEDING HILLS – Robin T. Quick-Laverdure, 41, of Line Street died Friday in Baystate Medical Center after a long illness and two double lung transplants, surrounded by her loving family. Robin was born in the Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany, the daughter of Donna M. (Alouise) Quick and the late Donald K. Quick Sr. She grew up in Springfield, graduating from Central High School in 1987, and has lived in Agawam for the past 20 years. Prior to her illness she worked in the Customer Service Department at the United Co-Operative Bank in Springfield. Besides her mother, she leaves a son Scott Laverdure; her sister Andrea Hogan and her husband Robert Hogan Jr. of Springfield, a brother Thomas J. Quick Sr. and his wife Marylou of Springfield; two nieces Samantha Hogan and Gianna Quick, two nephews Cameron Hogan and Thomas Quick Jr. and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She also leaves many dear friends including Kirstin Duvall, who has been by her side during her 10-year ordeal. Robin was predeceased by her father Donald K. Quick Sr. in 1991 and her brother Donald K. Quick Jr. in 1999. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday at 9:30am with Liturgy in St. Mary's Church, Westfield at 10:30am. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. The burial will take place in St. Thomas Cemetery at a later date. For online guest book or condolences please visit curranjones.com.
