Roland Duquette, 84, died Wednesday in Mercy Hospital. He was born in Springfield and has lived in West Springfield for many years. He worked as an electrical contractor, was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased by his wife Ann in 2017. He leaves two sons Norman Duquette of Vermont and James Duquette and his partner Jeannine Phillips of West Springfield, two daughters Cecile Crawford and her partner Patrick O'Connell of Springfield and Linda Sterling and her husband Brian of Belchertown, his brother Richard of Springfield, six grandchildren Shauna, Holly, Heather, Carole, Ruthann and Robert and three great grandchildren. All services are private. Curran-Jones Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Jimmy Fund.
