Ronald Earle
Provost
January 31, 1948 – July 3, 2025
After winning a two-year battle with cancer, Ronald Earle Provost 77, passed away suddenly and peacefully on the evening of July 2, 2025 in Cape Cod. Ron was born on January 31, 1948, and was the son of the late Earle and Mary (Barbieri) Provost. He was married to his loving wife, Irene (Rajewski) for 45 years and he was the proud and adoring Father to their son, Scott. He also leaves behind his many dear cousins here and in Italy along with many life-long friends. Born and raised in Agawam, he went on to receive his Master's Degree from American International College, Ron became a CPA, he practiced for several years as well as taught at AIC. With his accounting knowledge and background for over 35 years he successfully managed their family business, Auto Glass Specialists (AGS) of West Springfield, until his retirement. Besides being passionate about his wife Irene and his son, Scott, Ron loved all things baseball, the NY Yankees, golfing and clamming at the Cape. Ron was a long standing member of Springfield Country Club where he made so many good friends. He reserved his bragging rights to boast about his hole-in-one on the 2nd hole of SCC. With his cool, calm and quick wit Ron could always make you laugh. Above all he touched everyone he met with his kindness and gentle ways. May it be simply said, Ron was a loving husband, a devoted father and above all a very Good Man. If you close your eyes, you can see him wearing his baseball cap and hear him cheering for those Yankees. Ron will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts. A Memorial Mass to honor the life of Ron will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine Street, West Springfield, MA. At a later date, a private burial will take place. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements and memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
