Rose M. Protono

1934 – 2020

West Springfield – Rose M. (Brackinisky) Protono, 85, died peacefully Monday evening surrounded by her loving family.  Rose was born in Wilbraham and has lived in West Springfield most of her life.  She worked briefly in the Insurance industry but after having children, she devoted all her time to being a mother.  Her husband John C. Protono died in 1986 and her son John A. Protono died in 2015.  She leaves her two daughters Laurie A. Protono and her husband Christopher Davis and Caroline M. Protono and her husband Paul Forgette.  She also leaves a grandson Max Forgette and was the sister of Genevieve and Linda.  Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday beginning at 4:00pm with a service at 6:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
