Roseanna "Sally" Franklin passed away at Mont Marie, Holyoke, MA on Thursday, November 29 ^th . Roseanna was born in Lyndon, VT in 1917 as Roseanna Sarah McQueen and the daughter of Hector and Matilda (Cifolelli) Moquin. As a child, Roseanna lived in Windsor, VT until she moved to Wilbraham, MA where she met and married Charles Franklin. They began their married life in Westfield, MA, moving to West Springfield in 1974 while spending the winters in Deltona, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in November 2005 and only son Wallace in January 2006 and four of her sisters. Roseanna was a hairdresser for over 60 years and co-owned the Duet Beauty Shop in Springfield, MA. She was a loving grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many. She leaves her sister Ella (Evans) Perry of Windsor, VT, a brother Norman Moquin of Claremont, NH, her sister in law Jean Franklin of Wilbraham, MA, her daughter in law Corinne Franklin of West Springfield, MA and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Mont Marie and Beacon Hospice for the special care given to Roseanna. There are no calling hours and the burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Springfield United Methodist Church, 800 Amostown Rd., West Springfield, MA 01089.
