Rosemarie T. (Dupuis) Hegedus, 67, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Leo and Jeannette (Vachon) Dupuis, she was a lifelong resident of West Springfield and a 1973 graduate of West Springfield High School. Rosemarie worked for H. P. Hood for over thirty-five years, retiring in 2015. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She was also a member of the American Kennel Club. She enjoyed doing puzzles, going to the movies and playing Bingo, but most especially loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul M. Hegedus in 2016 and a brother, George Dupuis. She leaves a son, Sean Hegedus of West Springfield, two daughters, Desiree Hegedus and her fiancé, Rob of Westfield, Ashley Hegedus of West Springfield, a brother, Paul Dupuis of Feeding Hills, two sisters, Jeanne Shopey of Springfield, Joanne Cosgrove and her husband Dale of Westfield, four grandchildren, Taylor and her fiancé David, Madison, Athena, Jaylani, her longtime friends, Linda and Ed Hills and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10am at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine Street followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
