Roy J. Havens, 97, died Thursday. He was born in Toledo, Ohio and lived most of his life in Holyoke and Springfield. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2004. Roy leaves two sons, John R. Havens and his wife Bonnie, with whom he resided in Ludlow and Roy James Havens Jr., of SC, grandchildren Jennifer M. Headley and husband Bruce, John R. Havens Jr. and wife Christina, Alison and her husband Paul and James and his wife Donna and great grandchildren Trent John Havens, Jack, Matthew, Riley and Parker.
