WEST SPRINGFIELD – Roy J. Wetherell, 58, died Monday in Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Roy was born in Holyoke, son of Veronica (Zelasko) Hall and the late Arthur D. Wetherell. He leaves two daughters Jill Wetherell and Julie A. Servis and her husband Todd; brothers David Wetherell and Paul Bolden; sisters Debbie Noyes, Jane Wetherell, Alice Dussault, Lillian Guerin, Rose Mee and Carol Gacek. He also leaves two grandchildren Kylie and Brandon Servis, nieces and nephews, many in-laws and his beloved cat Ralph. Besides his father, Roy was predeceased by his stepfather Donald Hall; a sister Christina, brothers Peter and Arthur and his beloved cat Ed. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday, May 14th from 10:00am – 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Westfield Homeless Cat Project, 1124 East Mountain Rd. Westfield, MA 01085.
