Ruperta Rodriguez, 87, died Monday August 20, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. She leaves four sons Juan Rodriguez and his wife Carmen, Luis Rodriguez and his wife Rosa, Pedro Rodriguez and his wife Luz and Cheito Rodriguez, three daughters Maria Rodriguez, Luz Minerva and her husband Julio and Juanita Rodriguez and her husband Paul, two brothers Israel and his wife Felicita and Hector Martinez, five sisters Rosalia Gonzalez and her husband Nicky and Josephina, Lourdes, Rita and Nilsa Martinez. And also leaves her husband Carmelo Morales, her step-mother Rogelia Martinez, 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and family. She was predeceased by her first husband Juan Rodriguez, grandson Micky Rodriguez, five brothers and four sisters. She loved spending time with family, cooking, traveling and being with her church family. She welcomed everyone into her home and heart. The family would like to thank the staff at Baystate Medical Center Hospice, Cardiac and Vascular Unit for all their wonderful care shown to Ruperta.  The funeral will be Monday August 27, at 9:00 am from West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in Holy Name Church at 10:00 am.
