Ruth J. Borges, 76, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 7, 2022 at home. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Reginald and June (Pippin) Wright, she lived in East Windsor, CT for many years before moving to Agawam over thirty years ago.  She was a member of the River Valley Fellowship Church in East Windsor. She was predeceased by her husband, Armando Borges, a brother, Charles Wright and two sisters, June Dufrane and Nancy Hoague. Ruth leaves a brother, Reginald Wright of West Springfield, two sisters, Carol Whitman of West Brookfield, Lillian Wellington of Springfield and several nephews and nieces and many dear friends. The calling hours will be Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home, 745 Cooper Street with a Funeral Home Service will be at 6pm. The burial will be private.
