Springfield – Ruth E. (Westcott) Giuliano, 98, died Monday in a local nursing home.  Ruth was born in Springfield and has lived here all her life.  She was an avid golfer, loved dancing, was artistic, creative and enjoyed crafting.  She was predeceased by her husband Bernardo Giuliano in 2011 and was the mother of Kent and Lee Wells.  She leaves her sisters Freda Seymour and Eleanor Duffney-McLeod; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday at 11am with burial in Springfield Street Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held prior to the service Friday from 10-11am.  Donations may be made to the Mercy Life Pace, 2112 Riverdale Street, West Springfield, 01089.
