Samuel J. Misischia, 95, entered into eternal rest at Baystate Medical Center on Thursday May 19th. He was born in Agawam, son of the late Michael and Rose (Trincinella) Misischia. He lived in Agawam all his life working on the family farm. He was a former member of St. Anthony Church. He leaves two sisters Lucy Cincotta of Belchertown and Philomena Epaul and her husband Quentin Sr. of Westfield, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews who had fond memories of their Uncle Sam on the farm. He was predeceased by an infant brother John, brother Pasquale and sisters Mary Misischia, Julia Carithers and Carmella Gould. His family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Hall East for all the care, kindness and compassion shown to Sam. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 am from Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in St. John's Church at 10:30 am. Burial in Agawam Center Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday 4-7 pm.
