Scott J. Jasmin

1972 – 2018

Springfield – Scott J. Jasmin, 45, died Friday at his home in East Granby, Ct.  Scott was born in Newport, R.I. grew up in the Springfield area and lived in Ludlow before moving to Connecticut in 2010.  He had a passion for building and woodworking and worked in construction for many years, mostly for Belanger's Home improvement in Ludlow and more recently with Leisure Time Canvas in West Springfield.  He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, camping, wildlife, kayaking and was a devout car enthusiast.  He leaves his two children Justin Henry and Breanne Jasmin; his mother Susan Jasmin and her husband Jim; a grandson Isaac and his beloved fiancé Theresa Lutz.  Scott was predeceased by his father Joseph Souza and brother Todd Souza.  Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
