South Hadley – Sean Michael Patrick Dwyer, 45, died unexpectedly Tuesday August 2, 2017 in Baystate Medical Center. Sean was born in Springfield, grew up in Chicopee and lived in South Hadley. He was a 1991 graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School and worked for the Carpenter's Union Local # 108. As a young boy, Sean was a member of the Boy Scouts and played baseball, football and hockey. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and loved the outdoors. He was active in the Mixed Martial Arts. Above all he was an amazing, loving father to his two beautiful children Kyleygh I. Dwyer and Brennan S. Dwyer of Granby. He leaves their mother Mandy; his parents Arthur J. Dwyer Jr. and Karen E. (Polsey) Peterson and her husband Arnold; his sister aka "little sis" Kerri A. Dwyer-Comeau and his loving niece Kaileen A. Comeau. He also leaves his favorite uncle and Godfather Arthur Polsey and his wife Roxanne and Godmother Joan Murray; and many cousins, extended family and dear friends. Sean was predeceased by his maternal great grandparents Walter and Eileen Murray; his grandparents Arthur J. Dwyer Sr and Mary Ruth Laughlin, Leonard and Irene Daigneault. Loving Uncle- John Murray and his best canine friend "Cash". Visiting hours will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Theresa's Church in South Hadley on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11:00am for the Liturgy of Christian Burial.
