Sewell A. Frank, 97, formerly of Granby and South Hadley died Wednesday at the Overlook Masonic Health Care Center. Sewell was born in Chelsea, grew up in Malden, and lived in Medford most of his adult life before moving to Granby and South Hadley. He has lived in Charlton since 2005. He was a retired mechanical engineer for B.A.S.F. Sewell served with the Merchant Marine during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. He also belonged to the Mount Holyoke Masonic Lodge in South Hadley. His wife Roth E. (Stevens) Frank died in 2006. He leaves his daughter Beverly Pead and her husband William, grandchildren Christane and Jody Sicard and two great grandchildren Jordyn and Emma Sicard. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:00am in the United Methodist Church followed by burial in Village Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley, Monday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. For more details please visit
