Sharon L. Huckins

1958 – 2021

Chesterfield – Sharon L. Huckins, 63, died Monday peacefully at home. Sharon was born in Springfield, daughter of Nancy (Freeman) Huckins and the late John Huckins. She grew up in West Springfield and Easthampton, lived in Springfield most of her life before moving to Chesterfield last year. She worked as a case worker for Connecticut's Department of Mental Health. Besides her mother, Sharon leaves a son Mathew Huckins; two brothers John and Richard; four grandchildren Louis, Jeremy, Erika, and Brandon and four great grandchildren Benjamin, Madeline, Aubrey, and Logan. She also was predeceased by two brothers Robert and Mark. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday from 4:00 – 6:00pm.
