Sheila Mae Floyd
1952 – 2012

SPRINGFIELD – Sheila Mae Floyd, 59 years old was born in Worcester on October 14, 1952 was granted her angel wings on February 5, 2012. Her sudden death was a surprise to all her family and friends. She was a spunky, energetic, feisty little thing. We laughed, we fought and we cried but we loved the most. Those who knew Sheila wouldn't have had it any other way. Her life was cut very short, but it was a memorable one. Sheila is survived by her 3 children Camille and Nadene Westbrook of Springfield, Rudene Westbrook Jr. of Westfield along with her grandchildren Rakeem, Catherine, Nyishyari, Tariq, Paulene, Shayan, Rhianna and Lily and her "very dear to her" lifelong friend who she referred to as her SISTER Robin Therrien of Holyoke and her children that she loved as if they were her own April, Ruthiemay and Andrew. Sheila had several brothers and sisters; Pamela, Linda, Karen, William, and Keith, of Florida and Douglas of Belfast, ME. The family of her children's father welcomed her with open arms. Shelia is free to live in peace and happiness. She will be greatly missed. "A mother's love is never forgotten" she will be always and forever be in our hearts… We love you MOM, this is not goodbye, this is "See u later" LOVE YOU. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 4:00pm. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral on Saturday from 2:00 – 4:00pm.
