Shirley A. Falleti

1938 – 2018

FEEDING HILLS – Shirley A. (Wood) Falleti, 80, died Tuesday after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.  Shirley was born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn Wood.  She lived in West Springfield before moving to Feeding Hills in 1983.  She worked at Municipal Hospital, Buxton, Acme Chain, Travel Time Bus Lines, George & Green Real Estate and retired from the United States Post Office in 2004.  She obtained her Broker's license under the name of Falleti Real Estate.  An avid fan of all Boston sports teams, she loved to spend time with her family, read, cook, garden, bowling, play cribbage and dominos, and watching Wheel of Fortune.  She leaves her husband James V. Falleti; five children James Falleti, Gina Feyre and her husband James, Barbara Glidden and her husband Michael, Russell and Victor Sprague; eight grandchildren Christopher, Daniel, Michelle, Joshua, Adam Sprague, Jonathan Chapdelaine, Ryan and Connor Feyre; ten great grandchildren; many cousins and dear friends.  She also leaves a sister-in-law Serafina Durocher and her children Kevin, Lisa, Doreen and Michael.  Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her in-laws Vincenzo and Irene Falleti.  The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday at 10:00am followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
