Shirley R. (Cutting) Hardcastle, 91, died Sunday at home. She was born in Springfield and lived in West Springfield most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Samuel D. Hardcastle. She leaves her daughter Shirley M. Hardcastle and her fiancée Joseph Christoforo of Agawam, nieces Marilyn LaCamera and her husband Peter and Mary Gleason and nephews Stephen Mason and his wife Nicole, David Mason and his wife Gail, Sean Mason and Roger Hughes and his wife Marge. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 am from West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in St. Thomas Church at 10 am. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
