Loving mother, grandmother, and Aunt Shirley Lavigne, 91, said her last goodbye on Sunday, 4/18, at Mt. Saint Vincent. Lifelong resident of Springfield, daughter of late John and Una (Provost) Lamier. Shirley is predeceased by her loving husband Francis; brothers, Ralph and Gerald Lamier; and children, Cheryl, Brian, Francis, Lawrence, and Wayne Lavigne. She leaves behind her 5 sons, Daniel (Lorraine), Ronald (Patricia), Bruce, Garret, and Randy; 2 daughters, Carol Teece and Bonnie (Gary) Manfredi; and 2 sisters Jackie Dora and Joan Hulse. She also leaves behind 52 grandchildren. A Funeral service will be held for Shirley on Tuesday at 10 am at the West Springfield Curran Jones. Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 10 am.
