Shirley I. Roy, passed away March 15, 2024.  She was born on April 20th 1931 in Springfield MA to the late Rita (Brassard) Roy and Arthur Roy.    She moved to Boston at age 18 where she attended Boston University.   Shirley worked as a V.P. for the Knight Radio Station of N.E for many years before accepting a position at Boston University where she worked as an Associate Dean of mental health.   Shirley retired at age 50 moving back to Western MA where she enjoyed many years of traveling and spending time with family and friends.   She is predeceased by her siblings Richard Roy, Norman Roy, Jean Subotin and Roger Roy.   Shirley leaves behind many nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed.  Funeral Services will be held privately.   The Curran-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
