Shirley Turner
West Springfield-Shirley "Cricket" (Tracy) Turner died Monday surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born and grew up in Holyoke and has lived in West Springfield for 40 years. She was a graduate of Holyoke High School and retired in 2011 from The Landmark at Monastery Heights, where she worked in nursing care. She leaves a son Brian Welcome of West Springfield, two daughters Tina Cyr and her husband Donn of Palm Coast, FL and Kathleen "Katie" Diver and her husband Sean of Chicopee, a brother Kevin Hatch of NY and four grandchildren Krystle and Brett Cyr and Corbin and Nolan Diver. She also leaves a Goddaughter Johanna Fay and her two best friends Chris Fay and Viola Terenzi. Shirley was predeceased by her brother Steven Tracy. The funeral home service will be Friday at 10 am in West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. For more information please go to curranjones.com.
