Silvia (Cattalini) Perez, 70 years old, passed away peacefully with family by her bedside, on March 12, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
Born in Cario, Egypt on June 4, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Cattalini and Margherita (Montalto) Cattalini. Predeceased by her late husband William Perez Sr. and daughter, Marilyn Perez.
She attended Classical High School in Springfield, MA and was formally employed by Shriners Children's Hospital in Springfield, MA. Her remaining years were enjoyed as a homemaker, and grandmother. Silvia leaves her children; Elizabeth (Perez) Welch and husband Robert Welch Sr. of Springfield, MA. William Perez Jr. and wife Genoveva Perez of Springfield, MA. And Anna Maria Perez and Tereza Perez both of Springfield, MA.
She leaves her brother Adolfo Cattalini and wife Gail Cattalini of Westfield, MA. Her sister Lilliana (Cattalini) Marquez and husband Hilario Marquez of Yabucao, Puerto Rico. Brother Carlo Cattalini and wife Debbie Cattalini of Agawam, MA. And late sister Lucia (Cattalini) Ramos and late husband Carlos Ramos.
She leaves her cherished grandchildren; Robert Welch Jr. and wife Theresa Welch, Falana Hairston, Juliana (Welch) Johnson and husband Barrington Johnson Jr., Collin Harvey Jr., Orlando Harvey, Alyssa Serrano, Nicholas Welch, Imani Perez, Emmalee Perez, Mari White, and William Perez III. Silvia also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, baking, and spending time with her two beloved pets; Nico and Nina.
