Sol Iris Sepulveda

1941 – 2019

CHICOPEE – Sol Iris (Gonzalez) Sepulveda, 78, died peacefully Sunday in Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  Sol Iris was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico and lived in Westfield for 20 years before moving to Chicopee five years ago.  Her husband Ermitanio died in 2012.  She leaves a daughter Maribel, son William and his partner Jessica Jimison; two brothers William and his wife Celenia and Anibel; two grandchildren Caroline and Max and many loving nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Roberto and Bitin.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday at 11:00am followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to research for myelodysplastic Syndrome at aamds.org.
