WEST SPRINGFIELD-Sophie (Petlak) Sedon, 94, died Monday in Heritage Hall South. She was born in West Springfield and lived here most of her life. Sophie worked as a seamstress at Chicopee Undergarment and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She leaves her brother Edward Petlak and his wife Theresa of Westfield and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John Sedon, her brother Stanley Petlak and sisters Mary Furtek, Rose Prucnal, Helen Machos and Stella Kusek. The funeral will be Friday with a calling hour from 10 to 11 am at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by a funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church at 11:30 am.
