WEST SPRINGFIELD-Stanley Stefanowich, 89, died Tuesday in Heritage Hall Nursing Home. He was born in Springfield and lived in West Springfield most of his life. He was a retired self-employed truck driver and served in the US Army during WWII. He was predeceased by his wife Iris (Johnson) Stefanowich in 1995. He leaves two sons, Stanley and his wife Frances of Westfield and Paul and his wife Edwina of West Springfield, a daughter Kathleen Parrish and her husband Kenneth of Mt. Ranier, MD, a brother Tony and his wife Shirley of Chicopee, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00am at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Springfield Senior Services, 66 Industry Avenue, Springfield, MA 001104.
