Stella Brownlee

WEST SPRINGFIELD-Stella T. (Hanzel) Brownlee, 86, died Friday at Country Estates. She was born in Montague and has lived in West Springfield for most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Her husband Jack Brownlee died in 1984. She leaves five sons, John of Chicopee, Keith of East Longmeadow, David of Montpelier, VT, Richard of Westfield and Robert of Long Island, a daughter Mary Ferris of Agawam, a brother, Ted Hanzel of Longmeadow, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11 am in St. Thomas Church followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home are Tuesday 9:30 to 10:30am.
