Susan L. Dandy

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Susan L. (Brignoli) Dandy, 66, of Morningside Terrace died Monday in Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her family. Susan was born in Agawam, the daughter of the late Henry and Marion (Andrews) Brignoli. She grew up in Agawam, graduating from Agawam High School in 1964 and the Old Springfield Technical Institute of Cosmetology in 1965. She worked in Insurance most of her life starting with the St. Paul Insurance Company and then the Great American Insurance Company and finally retiring from Ohio Casualty Insurance Company. Most recently she was working with Enfield Collision Company. She leaves two children Michele Therrien and her husband William of Westfield and Earl Kent Dandy IV and his wife Sharon of East Longmeadow. She also leaves her three grandchildren Kayla and Jeremy Therrien and Colin Dandy; her uncle Donald Andrews; and many dear friends including her two sisters-in-law Pamela Jackson and Michele Dandy. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother Richard Brignoli. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm with a memorial service starting at 6:30pm. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
