Thelma was a resident of Agawam for over 60 years.
Thelma was an amazing woman and was loved by all. She enjoyed shopping, crafts, cooking and gardening. Thelma was a loving mother to six daughters - Shirley Jacobs (dec. Roger) who passed away in September 2025; Joanne O'Brien (Bill); Marshia Regnier (dec. John); Gloria Afanasiew (dec. Tony); Colleen Mason (Alexander); and Jolyn Farradaz (dec. Alberto). She was a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by two grandsons and her five brothers.
A tribute to her longevity was the love and care she received from her family and the amazing caregivers and hospice nurses who took such wonderful care of her so she could spend her final days in the comfort of her own home.
