Tammy Marie Diaz, 39, passed away on August 23, 2015. Born on June 10, 1976 in Hartford, CT, she lived her first years in Tolland, and the remainder of her adolescent years and young adulthood in Cromwell, Connecticut. She relocated to and settled in Miami Beach, Florida in 2009. Tammy was known for her beautiful charisma and smile. She was loved by all who knew and met her. Growing up she was an avid athlete competing in soccer, basketball, and softball. She also excelled in her academics. She was a lover of music playing the organ, and you would often hear her singing around the house. She is survived by her beloved son, Liam A. Armfield-Diaz, her parents, Pedro M. Diaz and Isabel (Chávez) Diaz of Miami Beach, her two brothers, Edward M. Diaz of Los Angeles, and Kevin J. Diaz of Miami Beach, her niece, Sophia A. Diaz of Los Angeles, her grandmother, Paula (Muñoz) Diaz of Glastonbury, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. All services were held Miami, FL.
