Theodore "Teddy" Joseph Bojan, died at home, on May 28th, 2017 in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 76. Teddy was born on October 2nd, 1940 in Ludlow, the son of the late John and Josephine (Twarog) Bojan. He graduated from Ludlow High School in 1958. He enlisted into the Massachusetts Air National Guard at the 104th Fighter Wing, in 1960. Teddy honorably served his country as a firefighter for 26 years, retiring as Master Sargent. In 1971, he married the former Donata Dubiel in Ludlow. Teddy was a talented master toolmaker with over 55 years of experience at Star Gauge in Springfield and B&E Tool in Southwick. In over 46 years, the couple welcomed two children into the world and taught them honor, fortitude, patience, and mechanics. His children remember him as a humble and gentle father, encouraging them to live their dreams. Teddy is survived by his wife, Donata (Dubiel) Bojan, his daughter Nancy Quinn and her husband, Michael, of Medford, MA, his son, Arthur Bojan and his wife, Hilary, of Costa Mesa, CA, his three grandchildren, Lindsey Quinn, Nathan Quinn, Elena Bojan, his siblings, Helen Wojna of Springfield, Jean Wyrostek of Harwich, MA, Alice Mendes of Ludlow, Elizabeth Grout of Agawam, a niece and five nephews.
