Theresa A. Beauvais

1922 – 2021

Agawam – Theresa A. (Domke) Beauvais, 98, died peacefully Monday, August 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Auburn, daughter of the late Frederick and Marie (Wiese) Domke.  She has lived in Agawam most of her life.  She worked in the Accounting Department for Baystate Medical Center for many years and later for the Topps Corporation, where she was president of the Regional Retail Worker's Union of Western Massachusetts. After retirement, she worked at John's Trucking. Theresa started her active life as a member of the Auburn High School Track Team, where she earned many ribbons and medals.  She continued her active life; gardening, traveling, bowling, and serving on numerous committees.  She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and was a member of the Women's Club.  She also held a Real Estate Brokers License.  She was predeceased by her husband Arthur V. Beauvais, a son Arthur J. Beauvais, and her brother Otto Domke.  She leaves three children Theresa Farina, Joanne Beauvais, and Victor Beauvais: nine grandchildren Dustin, James, Drew, Jenna, Olivia, Tracey, Jennifer, Joseph, and Antonio and nine great grandchildren.  Visiting hours will be held at the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME Saturday, Sept. 4 ^th from 9:30am – 10:30am followed by a funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church at 11:00am.  Her burial will take place in Springfield Street Cemetery in Agawam.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
